According to Jay Sankey in Zen and the Art of Stand-Up Comedy, 99% of jokes have the same structure, which includes a set-up and a punchline. Any comedian or speaker knows that a good punchline must bring about a sudden change of perception in the audience. This short presentation is followed by three examples of jokes.
